ONE BILLION DOLLAR$ GIFT / A Gift for Saving a Man
 

This story is about fate and my part in being chosen to actively participate in the largest and most dangerous recovery projects in the history of the United States of America. I am proud to be an American. What an honor to be a part of a history that has covered more than fifty years, at least three governments and many deaths. I was personally asked to be his security, from the man asked to handle this matter on behalf our government. While writing this, I still couldn't believe it was me and I am able to tell you the story.

I was given a one billion dollar$ gift for saving the life of a man who at the time, I hardly knew. I will tell you all the details as to why, who, when and where, later in this story. I will tell you that before I ever recieved it, I gave it all away to several major non profit organizations and to the state of Virginia, for educational scholarships.  The fact I was given such a gift was not the amazing part to me, it was secondary. The small part I played in this historical event was more important.  It has given me a tremendous sense of pride and honor. My job was to be taken in country secretly and guided into the jungles, mark the location, get the cargo out and bring back the remains of the aircrews that went down.  Since the gift was given to me later in the story, I will share it with you at the appropriate time.

Where should I begin? I guess like any good story, I should start at the beginning.  Where is the beginning? Does it start from when I began or does it start over 50 years prior to our involvement?   I am going to take you to a place in history and let you see for yourself what you think. While I take you through these historical events from where I was, you will quickly come to realize how they omitted this story from our history books. I will show you why the one billion dollar$ gift was given to me. I will tell you what I did with the gift and how my small part in this historical event, has forever changed my life.
